you are cordially invited to the upcoming online lecture "Making Sense of Climate Denial. Learning from Cultures of Climate Responsibility" by Prof. Kari Norgaard on 1 March 2023 at 7 PM. This talk is part of our LMU-CAS Research Focus ‘Climate Futures’.

Kari Marie Norgaard is Professor of Environmental Sociology and Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon (US). Over the past fifteen years she has published and taught in the areas of environmental sociology, Indigenous environmental justice, gender and environment, race, and sociology of emotions. In her 2011 book ‘Living in denial: Climate change, emotions and everyday life’ (MIT) and subsequent books and articles, she has made major contributions to the culturally sensitive study of climate change and climate action.
