The Department of Land Surface Dynamics is part of the German Remote
Sensing Data Center (DFD) at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The team
Agricultural and Forest Ecosystems develops methods and approaches with
all types of earth observation data (multispectral, hyperspectral, SAR) for analyzing changes of agricultural landscapes and forests in the context of Global Change. With its expertise in multi-sensor and multi-temporal earth observation, the team creates innovative information products to support decision makers in politics, economy and science. We are looking for several interns to support research projects focusing on Europe and Africa. Tasks will be the analysis of EO-data and further geodata, and the development and application of remote sensing approaches focusing on land cover/use, land management, phenology, biodiversity, and landscape structure in agricultural areas, forests and savannas.
