The Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program (EnMAP) was launched on April 1st 2022 and is currently acquiring hyperspectral images of hitherto unknown quality all across the Globe. In this project, the Department of Geography at the LMU in Munich is supporting the scientific exploitation of the mission, by developing state-of-the art retrieval algorithms for biochemical and biophysical variables and by demonstrating EnMAP's capabilities for agricultural use cases.
